The “Thriving in Economics” e-book series (pdf format) is a crowdsourced collection of bite-sized advice on almost everything related to a PhD and career in economics, featuring a variety of new and pre-existing writing by a diverse group of economists. Over 100 people, including PhD students, professors, and other professional economists, contributed their advice to this series.
Topics covered in this volume, aimed at Assistant Professors (and beyond) range from a discussion of major changes that happen between the PhD and the tenure-track, time- and stress-management strategies, publication strategies, how to get tenure, and more. All proceeds will be used to fund humanitarian aid in Ukraine.
