AI for renewable energy access in African: In Nigeria, NGO Renewable Africa 365 and Omdena have developed a grid coverage analysis and ML-driven heat maps to identify sites that are most suitable for solar panel installation. Their goal is to bring renewable energy to 100 million people living in communities without access to the national grid. Learn more about the project here.
